Hi
I am using IE6 SP2 with 128bit cipher strength. I can access most web
sites just fine but accessing a few of them seems to hang. e.g. I can
access Yahoo web site just fine but if I attempt to access
my.yahoo.com, the browser is very slow and it seems to hang most times.
If the my.yahoo.com home page does come up and I try to sign in, most
times, IE seems to hang as well after having accepted the user id and
password. After a while most ti mes, it will display the message "The
page cannot be displayed"
For comparision, I am able to log into Yahoo mail very quickly and
access my mail account.
I have tried turning off the firewall on the machine but that does not
seem to help.
Can anyone offer suggestions of what to try? Is there a way to turn on
"tracing" in the browser to get a detailed set of information on what
the browser is doing, to narrow this down.
