Hi,

I had problem changing the security ti below Medium. I had also read a few
post in the site, the nearest being posted by JT. However in the end he solve
his own problem but does not mentioned how. The other articles are quite
confusing and diffferent people giving different solution. Can someone pls
help by providing something earier to understand.

Thanks & Best Regards

Windows version?

Security Zone?

Why do you think you need to set the level to lower than Medium?

Thanks PA,

Win XP Pro SP2

What do you meant by "Security Zone" ? It's medium in "internet", if I get
you right.

This is just to troubleshoot a sometime certain internet apps or ddownload
does not work, etc. So just want to lower the security level to see if that
is the cause.

awaiting your further advise.

Thanks again

What problem? How did you attempt to change the level of Internet zone to
lower than Medium?

I believe the thread you referred to was this one:

In WinXP SP2, browsing security is enhanced markedly. It might take some
getting used to. In general, I wouldn't ever lower Internet zone security
below Medium. If you're having trouble reaching certain pages or
downloading, you /might/ tweak some settings in Tools > Internet Options
Security > Internet > Custom, but be very careful and don't ever "try
something just to see what happens."
