IE 6 Paswords , Forms, Auto complete do NOT Function

I have IE 6 Loaded on Windows XP Home Edition and the
Pasword Save , Auto Complete and Save Form do not
function...
I have tried enabling them several times and I even
tried in the options restoring all the defaults but they
still do not function...
Every time I go to a web page I have been on it still
asks me to save pasword and the nextime I go there it is
not remembered and it asks me again..
I tried using system restore and I repaired the
operating system from the windows CD but still I can not
get it to work... Any help would be greatly appriciated..
