HELP!

for some strange reason Internet explorer has decided
rather than give me the option of saving my dowloads
(only happens with zips) to hard drive it just opens them
every time does anyone know of a way to sort this out so
IE lets me download the files again Thanks In Advance

Try this:
1. Open Control Panel, open Folder Options
2. Click the File Types tab, select a specific file type (for example,
WinZip Files) in the Registered file types box, and then click
Advanced .
3. Click to select the "Confirm open after download" check box, and then
click OK

You did the same thing I did. You unchecked the "Always
ask before opening this file type" box. I just posted a
thread on here asking how to get it back, because I'm
having the same issue you are.
