Hi,
Do you have a program running that would be blocking ads and perhaps other
banners and images? A program like AdSubtract, Proxomitron, anything else
that would be filtering some types of content?

Hi Don

No I don't have any blocking software running other than the standard
Windows XP / IE 6 popup blocker. I have tried switching that off and it made
no difference.

I am having problem with my browser (IE6) downloading images from a
particular web site. Example is
:-http://www.wunderground.com/geo/BannerPromo/US/FL/Orlando.html

This site provides images that refresh every hour displying waether
conditions. My browser will not show them. Using another PC and IE5.5 will
show them.

Anyone got any ideas?

I have done a little digging around on my PC and I have found I am
using Symantec's 'Norton Internet Security 2004', which does seem to
have some popup blocking capabilities. Could that be what is stopping
the images loading from
http://www.wunderground.com/geo/BannerPromo/US/FL/Orlando.html. The
image and link to the above web site is on the home page of my web
site http://www.adreamfloridavilla.co.uk

Yes it could. That page uses a lot of scripting and that setting in Norton
is probably blocking scripts.

Thanks Frank.... I am currently struggling with 'Internet Security 2004' to
try and figure out how/why it is blocking the image from being
downloaded.....boy it's complicated..!!
