IE 6 new windows won't load.

Hello. I've been having this problem for a little while now. Certain links that I click on, when the page is supposed to open in a new window, will not load. The window will come up, but the page does not load. The url is never even displayed in the address bar. The page just comes up and nothing happens. Take for instance when you go to make a new thread here. I clicked on "Question", then the window came up, but nothing loaded. I had to use a different browser to get to this point. Does anyone know what causes this, and what can I do to fix it? Thank you for your help.
