IE 6 messages for copying and pasting

How do I get rid of the Internet Explorer message "Do you want to allow this
page to copy (or paste) information from your clipboard?"

I started getting these messages after reverting back to IE 6. A couple of
weeks ago I had downloaded the new 7 but got many script error messages and
decided to delete it and go back to 6. Prior to attempting to use IE 7 and
then returning to 6, I never got these "Do you want to allow this page to
copy (or paste) information from your clipboard?" messages. I just want to be
able to right-click copy/paste or use the icons like in Yahoo! mail.

Thanks,
John

Thanks Don.

Hi,
If this only happens at one site, place that site in Trusted Sites. Then go
to Internet Options> Security> Trusted Sites> Custom Level> Allow
programmatic clipboard access> Enable.

You could Enable "Allow programmatic clipboard access" in the Internet Zone.
It's a security risk, albeit a minor one.

To add a trusted site... Internet Options> Security> Trusted Sites> Uncheck
"Require server verification" and enter the site as (for example)
*.amazon.com

Hope this helps,
