In the last few days many web sites I visit show the message "You are not
authorised to view this page". Also many of the illustrations are just little
boxes with a red cross in them. They do not open if I click on 'show picture'.
What setting have I changed to cause this?
Your helpo will be appreciated.

First of all, it sounds like you're attempting to open a folder on a
server that does not have any of the default loading files, such as
"index", "default", "home page", etc. Some servers will allow you to see
a directory of the folder's contents and others will not. You will need
to know the complete URL to a specific HTML or similar file in that
folder.

If clicking "show picture" does not force the image file to be loaded
then you're just out of luck. It happens and there's probably nothing on
your end that will fix it. Others may know more about this than me, but
if a second attempt to download a graphic doesn't provide results then
it's just not going to happen.
