IE 6 Lockup on one site only

I am running IE 6, sp2, 128bit on windows xp media os. My browser locks up
when I try to open my instructors web page at the college I am attending.
This seems to be the only web page on the entire www that I am having a
problem with. This instructors link is designed exactly like the other
instructors at the college except for the last 6 letters which are first name
and last initial and I have no problems opening any other instructors site. I
can open this page at a friends house on their computer but not on mine. I
have done everything that Microsoft says to do on their crash analysis
diagnostic page but it still locks up. I need to get my weekly assignments
from this page so any and all help would be deeply appreciated.

Have you checked for any active-x controls you may need? How about pop-up
blockers, a/v or fw progs.
Have you also checked w/the webmaster of your instructors page?

Please be more specific in your symptom description.
"Locks up" is quite vague. E.g. is the page cacheable?
Is it left in the TIF after you resolve the "lock up"?
(in which case you could try opening it with Work Offline set
or at least dragging the .htm source file to a Notepad window)
Etc.
