I had IE6 , but for some reason is gone, I do not know if it was my doing or
what. WinXP does not let me re-install it. My question is ;
How can I re-install WinXP with out loosing all my other programs?,(Non
Microsoft)

In other words how can I re-install WinXP with out loosing all my data and
other programs.

Thanks in advance for your Help

Do you mean it is really gone or just the icon?

Try start>run and type the word iexplore in the box. exactly IEXPLORE and
nothing else although you could add .exe and it should not matter.

As a very simple temporary measure if this works just drag the little icon
from the left of the address bar to the desktop (Before the HTTP://) and
that will save the link, which will be to your home page anyway.

If your system is set to display the "Quick Launch" toolbar (Right click the
bottom task bar and select toolbars to see) you can drag icons like this
there also, I personally find this the handiest way.

Hi Charlie, thanks for the input.
I try it and it gave me this error;

Microsoft visual C== runtime library
runtime error

Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\explorer.exe

This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
