I'm running an up-to-date Windows XP Professional X64 system with IE
completely up-to-date. The 64-bit version works fine for all users.
However, there is one user on my machine that cannot use 32-bit IE or any
instant messaging applications. Whenever she presses a key, the window
closes completely. I've used Ad-Aware SE, Spybot S&D, and Microsoft's
Antispyware applications and none have resolved this issue. I've also done a
full virus scan and failed to locate the problem.
I've read similar problems but nothing exactly the same. I've seen
everything from CTHelper for Creative cards causing conflicts with plug-ins
to "your machine has been hijacked." I would like to repair this problem
without removing and reinstalling, is anyone familiar with this?
