Nicki B.

Hi,

I have tried changing hosts to "oldhosts",
and "hosts.old". I have cleared my cache, deleted cookies
and deleted history and run the maintenance listed in one
post, and I STILL cannot access just ONE website! I am
using Windows 2K and Trend PC-cillin. Even with PC-cillin
turned off I cannot access just this one site.

I have my HD partitioned and on the Windows '98 SE part, I
can access this site with no problems whatsoever. I have
tried to uninstall/remove IE and ALL of the annoying
hotfix updates (14 in all), and the hotfix updates keep
coming back, but now IE is not even listed in the programs
list - however it is still on my system! Please anyone -
help! I have had the computer tech out and after spending
some time trying to discover the problem his advice was to
remove all of the service packs/hotfix updates to see if
that would work (rather than me pay him to sit here and
restart 14 times!). I have done that and it still does
not help. As a last resort I tried removing IE entirely,
but, as above, I cannot even get rid of it and start
over! Help!

Thanks,
Nicki B.
