IE 6 Grey Background

I am using IE6 but my address bar is grey instead of white, as is the
background on all sites.
Anyone any advice on how to remedy pls?

Hi,
I think that may have come from Window appearance settings. From Control
Panel> Display> Appearance> Item >Window > Color. Be careful. It's easy to
get these settings really out of whack, then spend a lot of time correcting
them.

Thanks, tried this but no joy. Did manage to change a couple of things I
would rather have not though!!!!
