Hi Haimc,
Here are some suggestions.
1. Create a new user and logoff currect user and logon with the new user.
Test whether the Internet Explorer works well with the new user
2. Remove all Internet related third party applications. Such as the
download or toolbar application.
3. Disable the Third party browse extensions in the Internet Options
4. Disable the firewall and anti virus application
Let's see whether this works.

| Hi, I am using wxp pro , with all win updates installed
| browsing between pages and slecting the back button cause
| the IE to hang and take 100% of the cpu
