We're using WordPress for a blog, and we find that all the themes
(skins) work very well in Firefox and IE7, but IE6 has trouble with the
stylesheet and doesn't display the entries the way we want. We added a
second stylesheet just for IE6.
The guy who made an additional stylesheet just for IE6 (and earlier)
said that IE6 displays some things in "nonstandard" ways and he can't
wait for it to go away. WordPress is open source, and there must be
2000 themes available, and apparently hardly any of them work well in
IE6.
Questions: is it true that IE6 deliberately displays some code in
nonstandard ways? was IE7 deliberately designed to meet standards,
reflecting a change of heart at MS?
