IE 6 failing to work properly

like several other users I encounterer serious
dysfunctionning with IE 6.

Seems strange that so many users have suddenly the same
symptoms. I am thinking to a non detected virus! Does any
one one this board have a better idea! and then what to do
to fix it

"failing to work properly" doesn't give enough information to help much.

Many recent IE problems are caused by people downloading questionable
programs like Kazaa or visiting questionable Web sites with inadequate
security settings. First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
