Hi, I am a school teacher, and I need to log into the school's student
database to do some work. However, I could not enter the web page that I
want. A message that says "The page you requested has been blocked because
it contains a banned word" keeps showing up. Even if I change my browser to
firefox the same problem remains. I did not have this problem before. I've
tried changing my saftey/privacy settings, even adding the school's website
to the trusted website list, but nothing works. If anyone can offer me a
solution so I can continue with my work, I'll appreciate it.

Is this your home computer, or a Schools computer ?
It would seem you have some software installed that is blocking the website.
Do you use Parental Control software on your comuter to prevent mis-use from
children ?

What does your network admin have to say about this?

I am using my computer at home. The admin. tried using the school computer
and had no problem entering the system. I asked two of my cousins to use
their computers and test to see if they could log into the page I want, but
they got the same message as well. No, I do not have any parental control
measure installed, which is why I have no idea I am receiving this message.
Not to say that I did not have this problem before......I wonder if the
school has changed something accidentally and blocked all outside computer
users?

Hi Irashi,

When you say "I wonder if the school has changed something accidentally and
blocked all outside computer users?"

Have you not spoke to this School about this ? - This would of been my first
place to contact !?
