Hello

IE 6 does not display backgrounds color and does not display cut images
properly.

For example any background color in a table on ANY web site does not
display at all.

If a site has a graphic that has been sliced and diced, for example a
fancy border around a table, it is so distorted (all pulled apart) that
it makes it hard to figure out what I am looking at.

Text is also a problem when in a combobox or textbox. It is gigantic
even though the text size is set at the default of medium. Again this
applies to any web site I view. This one is rather annoying as it will
cover other text making sites impossible to read.

I am using a Toshiba Satellite A70 and all the settings are default. I
have a screen res of 1280 * 800, the default setting of the laptop since
I fired it up.

Anyway after tinkering with different settings in MS IE6, screen res',
trying to do repairs I gave up and installed FireFox. It works 100% so
my question is what is wrong with IE6 and how do I fix it?

Hi

I appreciate the feedback but unfortunately none are checked and never
have been. Do you know what else it could be?

Thanks

Ogie
