IE 6 Crashing

When ever I close a IE6 window, IE crashed and takes all IE windows with it.
Also I have noticed that the title area in the top left and the bottom tabs
have mostly question marks for each letter instead of the words "about:blank
- Microsoft Internet Explorer"

The error message I get is as follows
