Internet Explorer 6.0
My question is I used a clean sweep program the other day
and now I cannot get Internet explorer to work. I open
Internet Explorer on my computer but says cannot find
server. I have tried all kinds of web sites but I keep
getting the same error message. I have made sure all the
proper Internet properties under advanced was checked. I
have reinstalled windows ME 3 times hoping this would
correct the problem-did not work. I also tried to reset
the computer with a previous date but it would not allow
me to do this. What do I do next? Thank you.

I have the very same problem I've been working on this non stop for two days
I'm told to unistall from the control panel then reinstall but my add/remove
program dosen't have IE in it so I couldn't do that so I was told to type
sfc/scannow in the run program but my computer doesn't doesn't have that
either but maybe these might work for you. I will keep trying different Ideas
I really don't want to reintall everythimg
