Hi All,
Here's a good one the experienced as well as for the
novice. Since the last big virus, I have been unable to
access the Microsoft.com website for my lap top and desk
top at home. I get a screen saying that the page cannot be
displayed. However, I can access all other web sites with
no problem what so ever.
I have no problem accessing the Microsoft.com web site
from my computer at work.
I have scanned my computers at home for viruses, etc., and
both are clean. There are no rules filtering the
Microsoft.com web site, and having looked at the Hosts
files there is nothing to suggest that this should happen.
Nothing in the event logs to suggest a problem either.
I am a little leery of re-installing IE 6.0 since I am
unable to connect to the Microsoft.com server.
Any Ideas.???????????
