IE 6.0

Why is it that since I upgraded to Windows XP Home I now
am unable to view some of my web pages eg. Windows Media,
www.windows.com, windows update through Tools/windows
update to name a few?
 
Are you running all the latest patches for IE 6? Try
dumping the history list and cookies to see if that
helps. Make sure your hosts file has not been changed.
Also if you are using software to accelerate your internet
connection disable it. Finally, download Spybot and run
it to remove the spyware and addware from your machine.
Make sure your virus scanner is current and scan your
computer.
