ie 6.0 the page cannot be found when doing a search

If I enter something in the Search the Web box on msn.com I get the above error. I've checked with isp and that is not the problem. This also happens with other searches. I get the same error trying to get to google and the same when doing a search on yahoo.

any suggestions would be appreciated.
