For the past week I noticed when I am working with an
application, it would minimize for no noticeable reason.
For the last day I have been trying everything I can
think of from deleting all temp files to uninstalling old
applications. I have all the recent updates including
Norton's Internet Security and Ad-aware 6.0, but what
ever I am doing will minimize to the desktop. A couple of
minutes ago I wrote down all the Processes that were
running; I started an application and it minimized. I
checked the Processes immediately and noticed that
iexplorer was running. Could this be Spyware or a Trojan
doing this?

Hi,
This could mean that an adware/spyware program is connecting to a server.
You've run Ad-aware, so work through the other solutions (CWShredder,
Ad-aware, Spybot) at
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm Also note the security tips on that
page.
Had Ad-aware been updated? There's a new version out- Ad-aware SE.
