Whenever I (left) click on a link in Internet Explorer
that leads to an adobe Portable Document Format (pdf)
file, Adobe Acrobat starts to load, and the "loading" box
finishes in what appears to be a normal manner, but
nothing is displayed in the browser. When I press
Ctrl+Alt+Del, the utility claims that the process loading
the pdf is using 99-100 percent of the cpu power, which
seems to indicate a bug. I can right click on the link
and save the target file to my hard drive, and then open
it in Adobe Acrobat without difficulty. I have installed
Windows XP SP1, and thus (the microsoft site claims) IE
SP1 with it. Any thoughts on how to get IE to read the
pdf files?
