IE 6.0 Search

When I type a topic into the address bar, I get an error
stating that "The page cannot be displayed".
i.e if I type "internet radio" into the address bar, I
get the error page, and the address bar appears as
follows: http:///? internet radio

Before this happend, if I had typed that topic into the
address bar, I would be re-directed to the MSN Search
page, and a list of sites would appear.

I'm using the latest version of IE 6.0, downloaded all
the updates. And also using Windows XP.

Does anyone know what the solution is?
