IE 6.0 recently opened html file replaced by an opening xml file

Hi All,
I created an html file called a.html, then b.html, then MyXml.xml
After opening a.html and b.html, when i try to open MyXml.xml, b.html
(already opened file)
is replaced by MyXml.xml without giving permission to close b.html.

Backgroud :
Browser : Internet Explorer 6.0
OS :Windows XP

Anybody can help me ?

Are you using the option under Advanced tab for "Reuse windows to launch
shortcuts".
If you do uncheck it and see if the XML will open in another Window.
