Can anyone help me with this?

When surfing the web a potential popup will load as page
cannot be displayed, when I close this page, I get this
message everytime:

iexplore.exe - Application Error
"The instruction at "0x01fd1f9c" referenced memory
at "0x01fd1f9c". The memory could not be "read". Click on
OK to terminate the program

It started doing this when I intstalled Mcafee. I have
recently uninstalled Mcafee and intstalled Norton. I am
running WinXP Pro.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I'm getting the exact same message every time I close
Internet Explorer 6.0.26 - also running Windows XP - Home
Edition, So I don't believe it's related to installing
McAfee vs Norton. I've been searching IE Support and not
finding anything, so unfortunately I'm of no assistance -
but now I know it's not just me (and you do too!)
