IE 6.0 History Folder Settings

Hi, I run XP and IE 6.0. Don't like everything I do on
my computer outside of my IE browser (such as when I use
Word or Excel) added to the History folder in IE 6.0.
How can I limit this to just what I do in IE and not in
other programs.
