IE 6.0 General tab under Internet Options not found

Some web site took over my home page and I can't reset it
because the general tab isn't under the Internet Options
any more. Does anyone have a clue how to remove the
offending site or how to reset my home page to a benign
site without that tab?

What has occurred is Spyware related.
Backup your Registry _first -
(Choose what operating system you have).

Use this Registry fix - right click on the file and select "merge"
Accept the entry when prompted -
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/RepairTabs.reg
This fix will unlock your tabs in IE.

If this does not work you will be required to run several application
to recover.
