IE 6.0 freezing up

I am running IE 6.0 on windows 98SE. The first problem I am having, when I
bring up IE sometimes it just freezes and doesnt even show the tool bar.
Sometimes when I do bring up a web site, that site will freeze up and I cant
even end task on it. The only way I can get IE to close is to reboot my
system. The second problem is sometimes when I do have IE up and try to load
a web site, it will just blip off, disappear. These problems are random. I
have tried to repair IE without luck.

Can someone help me. when I type in and address in the web bar it doesn`t go
anywhere for a while but if I use my favorites it goes in one second. I have
windows XP its wierd it just started to happen....
