Hello,

Does anyone know how to disable the message boxes that
pop-up if a website runs under https:// and accesses
another item on http://.

The message box reads:
"Downloading non-secure content from a secure web site..."

I have tried to disable
\Tools\Internet Options\Browsing section\"show friendly
HTTP error messages"

and unchecked "Use SSL 3.0"

but it did not help.
This very annoying message box keeps popping-up.

Thanks for any help

Regards,

Carsten

Is that the precise quote? I have a faq about a slightly different message
below:

Here's how to stop receiving this annoying message:
"This page contains both secure and nonsecure
items. Do you want to display the nonsecure items?".

1) Open Internet Explorer
2) Click on Tools
3) Click on Internet Options
4) Click on the Security Tab
5) Click on the Custom Level button
6) Under the Miscellaneous section look for "Display Mixed Content"
7) Click on Disable for Display Mixed Content instead of Prompt
8) Click on OK twice
9) Close Internet Explorer and reopen

Open the webpage that was displaying the warning message, the message should not appear now.
