IE 6.0 DISAPPEARS

Mid day today, I tried to open IE and for no apparent
reason, it would display for a brief second and
disappear. I tried to uninstall and reinstall IE6 Service
pack, which did not work. AOL works fine, but I can't
keep IE opened. Thanks for any help and advice.

Probably been hacked.

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite).

Yup...thanks. Cable company told me to uninstall pop up
stopper/spyware and all works fine now.
