IE 6.0 - Crashing b/c of AdWare?

Hello,

For a few months now, everytime I try and go to a website
I get an Error report popiing up asking if I want to send
the error to Microsoft, whether I do or not, my browser
closes itself. I am also getting a ton of pop ups from
8ad.com. I am sure these two are linked, does anyone
know a patch available to get rid of this? Or where this
is coming from? This si making it impossible to use my
computer, any help would be great!
