IE 6.0 crashes

I have begun getting numerous messages "IE has
encountered a problem and needs to close" I send a error
report but nothing happens. I have happened much more
frequently lately and at very random times. Anybody got
an idea what's wrong.

I just started having the exact same problem, after no problems for a
year! I downloaded all the latest patches and fixes, and now I get a
second window popped up when I click on a link or photo url, but that
window is blank! I hope someone can answer you because maybe it will
help me too!
I despise Windows 2000 and IE.

Try to install an Antivirus and update it.

That doesn't help. It's not a virus, as I've scanned and scanned for
viruses, have anti-virus on my computer. I know it's an IE problem.
Damn microsoft.
