Hello. My problem is that I am unable to access certain sites ever since
upgrading to SP2. I am running windows XP (obviously) with McAfee Internet
Security Suite. I've disabled McAfee and also ensured that the webiste was
added to the allowed websites on Windows firewall/security. An example of a
site is http://www.greenparkinn.com. Has anyone had this problem? Any
information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Please define 'unable to access'. Precise symptoms and error messages
please.

I am having the same problem. Ever since I loaded SP2, certain sites will
crash IE. The windows just close by themselves. Others seem fine. Sometimes
although I can access a site, certain links on a page on that site will make
it crash. I also can't access a chat forum that I previously had no trouble
with. I know the sites and the chat forum are ok, because I can access them
from other computers that haven't loaded SP2.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

If nothing there helps, please post back to this thread.
