I have Windows XP Home Edition, and I recently upgraded to
Media PLayer 9, and now I can not seem to open my audio
files from my hard drive. I get an error message that
says: "Class not Registered".

Also in IE 6.0, I use a school based forum for discusion
on my classes. The messages are displayed in a pop-up
window, and now the message windows are shown blank. I get
a message that says:"Errors on the page", I click on that
and it tells me somthing along the lines of: "Class not
Registered".

I already tried this: http://support.microsoft.com/?
kbid=306831 : to try and resolve the problem, but that did
not work. Please help.

Thanks
