I uninstalled MSN messenger after my daughter downloaded 180search
assistant while trying to get the new msn messenger. It stopped my
mouse from working and froze up the computer, not to mention all the
new programs it brought with it to run in the background. It won’t
install the new msn because it says I need to upgrade my explorer to
6.0. Each attempt says it’s successful upon reboot, I reboot and it
says it was unsuccessful. Also my tools are missing from the
add/remove so I can’t even fix my explorer that way.
Can someone please help me.
Thanks .. Sandie :?

If you're running Windows ME, why are you posting to an XP group? There are
a myriad of ME groups, why aren't you posting to one of those?

Hi Sarah

I wish I had said that.
Age must be slowing me...

How did you remove 180_Searchassistant and the other unwanted hijackers?

Did you reinstall WinME?
