idx file extensions

[Acemac]

Can anyone tell me why hundreds of .idx files have
appeared in 'my documents'. they all have the same date
and time and i do not have Fox Pro or any other kind of
databse or address book installed, as far as I know.

I had a look on few of those sites and they're a bit vague
on that particular extension. It did suggest tracking what
I was doing on that day, which I'm doing now.
