I Invictus Jun 28, 2005 #1 Is there a trick or utility to identify what type of RAID is set up on a server? Thanks.
T Tony Brown Jun 28, 2005 #2 I take it you mean hardware RAID?!?!?! If it's software RAID, then check out disk management. If you've got hardware RAID, then check out the scsi adaptors group in device manager..... There should be a raid controller listed there, just download the RAID management software from the hardware manufacturer. Install it, and you should be able to view/configure it from inside windows.... Worked for me a couple of times.... - Tony Brown MCSE NT4, 2000, 2003, Network +, CIW Professional (e-mail address removed) http://www.phillipsbrown.com
