I used to use Outlook Express. My new computer came with Outlook XP. I am
trying to figure out how to do some things I used to do.

1. Identities. I have more than one email address. In Outlook express, I had
them set up as identities that I could switch back and forth betwee. I had a
password set for one, so no one could even get to the inbox without a
password. How do I do this in outlook?

2. Contacts. In Outlook express I had groups, so that if I wanted to send
one email to a whole group, I could simply click on that group. I can't
figure out how to do this in Outlook. Is this possible?

Thanks

1a) You can setup several account within one profile. Just add them by using
Tools-> E-mail Accounts. If you want to go for a more "identity" kind of way
you could setup more than one profile in Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show
Profiles-> button Add...

1b) To set a password; rightclick the root folder (Outlook Today)->
Properties-> button Advances...-> button Change Password...

2) Press File-> New-> Distribution List. The list will be created in your
default Address Book (by default the Contacts folder). DL will have a
different icon and the name will be bold to distinguish them from normal
contacts.
