Hello Frank,

Thank you for your reply. I used your code which is on the right track
however, the result I want is to only have new entries displaying
Unfortunately, the only way I can pull a report from my accountin
system is to have it display all instances of current customer debt.
only want to identify new debts as they occur as they need to b
investigated. This is why, when I see a customer number with a specifi
debt code appear on both reports, I want to delete them both as the
have peen previously dealt with. If a customer number appears on my ne
report with a new debt code, I want this new occurrance to remain. Onc
I have all new debts isolated, I can save the report under a new nam
which leaves the original intact for archive and tracking purpose
while the new debts are investigated and actioned.

When I first started trying to do this, I was using code to compar
workbooks but it seems my brain can't cope with this regardless of th
excellent assistance I've been given on this forum. My current attempt
have been to copy the data from the new report under the old report t
try to achieve my needed results. Given the outcomes I'm trying t
achieve, is it possible to do this using this method or should I g
back to trying to compare workbooks? Comparing workbooks should make i
easier to delete as I would only be deleting from the new report (sorry
thinking out loud).

Maybe it's back to the drawing board ...
