Identifying memory

What's the best way of identifying the type of memory installed on a Windows
XP computer? A colleague who is to nervous to take a screwdriver to their
machine wants me to install some new memory, and it's a fairly long journey
over there, so I'd rather direct them to some analysis software, get the
info, go shopping for them and install it in one visit, rather than go over,
check out the memory, go home, go shopping and make another long round trip.

I'm well aware that there are a number of free apps which claim to offer
useful analysis, but Belarc, for example, doesn't give me enough info.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks to you both for a prompt and helpful reply - exactly what I was
looking for!
