Identify root cause?

I need to identify the root cause of lockups that have
happened last week and this week on a pair of servers.
There is nothing in the event logs, nor CIM7 to help
identify what happened, what's the best way to go about
identifying what caused these servers to freeze solid?
(requiring a power off and reboot to get back up)

If nothing shows up on the logs, i'ld suggest verifying your power
limitations.
