Ideas for projects

Sometime ago, I thought I saw a website where people submitted ideas
for software projects. I'm looking for such websites, especially in
dotNET.

The projects need to be of reasonable size, because their sole purpose
is for novice dotNET developers to get to know dotNET. It is best if
those small-sized projects could be of various dotNET technologies,
which involve topics like the following: OO, WinForms, WebForms,
Webservices, ADO.NET and the like.

Thanks.

Hello ewolfman,

A bit offtop - what's the reason for this? What do u want? Need some area
to master your knowledge and have no idea or what?

Not at all.

I'm running into developers from time to time who wish to study dotNET
development, and it usually isn't easy to study without having a
specific goal. Tutorials, excercises and the like are usually focused
on a specific topic, whereas a small scaled project is more
challenging, allows you to design the solutions yourself and combines
several technological elements.

So, I'm find myself creating small-sized excercises, but I think that
small-sized projects could provide a better challenge.

And... while we're at it, it could be nice to see what projects people
are thinking of.

Hello ewolfman,

See around, there are a lot of things in everyday life what need to be either
automated or be better that it's now.
I can't see the problem to find what to write
