Ideas for New system

I am planning on building a new computer for light gaming and
quicken/MS office/turbotax use. I have built machines before, but I
have been out of touch for quite a while. I need ideas for specific
components. I want to keep the total cost at $1000 or less.

Motherboard and CPU
Graphics card
combination DVD player/CDRW burner
Sound card
Speakers
Case and power supply
Monitor

Lite-on is a brand I like for CD-RW.
Case and power supply

Again lite-on makes a nice case that is reasonable with a quality PSU.
