Still in BETA but i think Microsoft Anti-Spyware is pretty
good. The three agents perform vital but awesome jobs. Im
pretty sure there will be a lot less infections now with
the AS tool. However i have a suggestion, how about an
option that allows a user to submit malicious files related
spyware to Microsoft for review, or even somewhere where a
user can contact the anti-spyware team informing them of
new variants or file names etc.

Also, i'm curious about what everyone else thinks about
Microsoft charging for this software. Please leave your ideas.

Tools - Suspected Spyware Report is perhaps what you are looking for
although I don't see the ability to attach a file.

Well considering that Microsoft is responsible for
creating the security holes that allow spyware to exist
in the first place, they shouldn't get to charge a dime.

.
what's really funny is that Microsoft has built an
entire industry around the inequities in their product.

Imagine if a car manufacturer had recall issues, never
recalled the cars, but instead offered buyers a special
toolkit which they had to pay money for (SMS) and then
forced them to hire a special mechanic (SMS
administrator) to actually fix the car?
Oh, and by the way, they'd give you a free toolset (SUS)
but you can't change it and you have to train yourself to
use it.

I think I'd be tempted to make the car fail more often,
wouldn't you? (ie, sell more toolkits). I guess my point
is: I wouldn't at all be surprised if you don't have to
pay for this stuff in the future.
