Hello,

I have an ASUS P4P800 (NOT deluxe) motherboard, which supports ATA/100 and
SATA. My hard drive, however, is ATA/133. If I buy a IDE to SATA coverter,
and connect the drive to the SATA plug on the motherboard, will I be able to
get ATA/133 speeds?

Thanks!

Not sure. Would think that depends on the adapter.
On the other hand, this is completely irrelevant. ATA133 has nothing to say
performancewise over ATA100.
Connect the drive to the ATA100-connector and be happy.

Agreed.
