IDE Drivers for A7N8XED board?

Does this board just use generic MS IDE drivers in win2k? I'm accustomed to
installing customized "bus master" drivers with all my recent machines, and
so wondered if I'm overlooking something here.

TIA...

The standard MS IDE ones do bus mastering....

You can either use those, or if you want the benefit of no lower CPU usage
or no faster speed, you could try the nVidia SW IDE drivers. If you have
problems burning CDs, change back.

Check my FAQ for links to the drivers.

Thanks Ben. I'm a bit confused though. I thought you were being humorous
when you said, "the benefit of no lower CPU usage
or no faster speed", but then I saw the same advice at your website. Was
that a translation error? ;-)

Thanks,

Nah, it's kind of a joke... many people were screaming on about the SW IDE
drivers and the problems that they had and why after a year nVidia still
hadn't released proper drivers and where was all the performance etc. etc.
When the drivers did get released (in 3.13) they were no better than the MS
ones in terms of performance. I'm not sure what people were expecting to be
honest - it's the hard drives that are limited in terms of performance, not
the chipset.
