Ide device

well this is different
Seems like i have two primary disk and two secondary, Been looking around
and this is a problem in about 32 lab computers

Windowsxp pro sp2
If I remove form device manager they come back, Any ideals,

PS a usb scandisk has been used on all, and mapping to other folders on a
different system

Uhm.. I assume that you don't have four drives in the computer then?

Try deleting the IDE controllers from the Device Mangler and rebooting.

I think that you are looking at the IDE controllers, not disks.
PATA and SATA controllers.
